Trip Overview

Experience the beauty of the Canadian Rockies on this journey! Everything begins in Toronto where you will experience the city’s culture by way of a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour. Next you will jaunt over to see the majestic Niagara Falls. Your full-day tour will get you up close and personal with the Falls on a cruise as well as give you time to explore the famous Niagara-on-the-Lake. You will then board the classic Canadian route on VIA Rail® as you journey out towards the Canadian Rockies. Upon arrival to the Rockies, you will be in awe of the scenic wonder as the train makes its way into Jasper National Park. Once in Jasper you will enjoy guided tours that will take you to the historic Icefields Parkway as well as a trip to the Glacier Skywalk and the Glacier Discovery Center. After Jasper you will continue on to Vancouver where you will visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. You will also explore the city on a hop-on, hop-off tour and a visit to the Vancouver Lookout. An unforgettable journey awaits!

DAY 1               YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN TORONTO
Welcome to Canada!  Transfer on your own to your centrally located hotel and start exploring the city with your hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour.  This tour will feature top Toronto sights such as the Royal Ontario Museum, Casa Loma, the Hockey Hall of Fame, Toronto Harbourfront, Eaton Centre and Chinatown, among others. Use your admission to the CN Tower. (Overnight in Toronto)

DAY 2               TORONTO > NIAGARA FALLS > TORONTO
This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a full day tour to one of the wonders of the natural world, Niagara Falls.  Highlights will include a meal overlooking the falls, a ride on the Hornblower* boat, getting you up close and personal with the Falls, free time in both Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake and a winery tour and tasting.  After your full day of touring, your bus will drop you back off at your hotel for a relaxing evening. Board your overnight VIA Rail train west towards the Canadian Rockies.  (Overnight onboard VIA Rail)

DAY 6              JASPER
Welcome to Jasper and the Canadian Rockies.  Your train will arrive this afternoon where you will travel on your own to your hotel in town.  Take the afternoon to explore. Why not use your included admission to the Jasper Skytram to get a whole new perspective on the Canadian Rockies? (Overnight in Jasper)

DAY 7              JASPER
This half day excursion follows the famous Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.  View scenic rocky mountain vistas and local wildlife along the way, with photo stops at Athabasca Falls and Stutfield Glacier.  Step onboard an ice explorer for an interpretive adventure onto the Athabasca Glacier.  At the Glacier Skywalk, enjoy the unobstructed view on a glass-floored observation platform over the Sunwapta Valley.  Highlights of this tour include:  Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Falls, Stutfield Glacier, Columbia Icefield, Admission to Glacier Adventure and Glacier Skywalk, a hot buffet lunch at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre and time to explore the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. DAY 8              JASPER > VANCOUVER
Travel to the VIA Rail station and board The Canadian and continue your trip eastbound across the country. (Overnight aboard VIA Rail)

DAY 9               VANCOUVER
This morning, arrive in Vancouver! Today’s full day of sightseeing will start with a hop-on, hop-off tour that takes you to Vancouver’s most popular areas:  Stanley Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Granville Island and more!  The tour will feature live commentary,so you’ll have the opportunity to learn what makes this spectacular city so special.  (Overnight in Vancouver)

DAY 10            VANCOUVER
Continue exploring Vancouver today with admission to the Vancouver Lookout!  Sweeping 360-degree views await you at the top. Take some time this afternoon to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, one of the most popular tourist attractions in British Columbia.  The bridge crosses over towering evergreens with views more than 100 feet above the forest floor.
